Walk-in Sexual Health and HIV Testing
Confidential Sexual Health and HIV testing is now available, no appointment needed.
Regular Sexual Health screening is an important part of healthy LGBT+ life. Not all Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) show symptoms, therefore regular testing, between partners is important.
We have teamed up with the Florey Clinic to provide a range of Sexual Health testing services at our hub, 15 Castle Street, on a regular basis. You don't need an appointment or an examination, and all your testing is completely confidential.
This screening service is designed for those who have NO symptoms or who have NOT been in recent sexual contact with someone who has an STI.
If you do have symptoms or been told by a recent sexual partner that they have an STI then you should go to your local Sexual Health clinic visit safesexberkshire.nhs.uk to find out more.
During the process, you'll receive a full MOT to check against common STIs including; gonorrhoea, chlamydia, hepatitis, syphilis and HIV.
You'll receive your results in 7 - 10 days via SMS. The Florey Clinic will contact you if you require any treatment as a result of your test(s).
Even if you don’t want to be tested, you are welcome to attend the service to get information and advice on how to stay safe.
