Help with Coming Out

What is Coming Out?

Coming Out is the first step in the acknowledgement that you are, or think you may identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender.

Coming Out doesn't happen once, generally the process happens several times, to family, friends, school or work.

Remember: Coming Out is a personal process and there isn't a set time, or a right time to do it. We're here and will work with you at your own pace.

You're never alone on your journey

Coming Out can be a difficult experience with uncertainty as to how family, colleagues or society may react. Sometimes it can feel like an isolating experience, don't worry. Our support network is here every step of the way.

We're able to help with the following:
Coming out to family members
Providing support to families with 'out' members
Parental support for children coming out
Coming out at work or school/college
Employer support for LGBT employees
Providing support after you've come out
