Reading Museum
Reading Museum seeks to tell the whole story of Reading’s history and to be representative of the town’s diverse population and contemporary cultural life. The Support U team have been fantastic in helping the Museum to get to grips with the long-term ‘discrimination by omission’ that has existed in the museum’s collections and displays. The Support U team has taken a positive approach to the challenge and we have worked collaboratively to achieve some excellent results, delivering heritage projects that take pride in the life and times of Reading LGBTQ+ communities.
